ADAPTIVE DIVER SCUBA CERTIFICATION CLASS
Free-Daptive Divers uses the curriculum developed by the Handicapped Scuba Association (HSA) to teach disabled divers to function to their maximum ability, regardless of the disability type or limitation when scuba diving. Adaptive divers learn the same skills as those of able-bodied divers, though some skills may need to be performed with the help of an adaptive Dive Buddy.
Be a buddy
SDI SCUBILITY DIVE BUDDY CERTIFICATION
Dive Buddy training provides the specialized knowledge and skills necessary to safely plan and dive with adaptive-needs divers. The SDI (Scuba Diving International) Scubility Dive Buddy Course combines e-learning and confined and open water exercises, designed to simulate adaptive needs. In learning about the different adaptive needs for scuba diving, Dive Buddies experience what it is like to be a mobility or sight-impaired diver, and the special considerations needed for planning and diving.
